A few final steps to make moving day smoother.
Moving day itself is mostly a logistics problem that was either solved the week before or was not. The box that matters is the one you keep with you: medication, chargers, documents, a change of clothes, the kettle. Everything else can be on a lorry for a day. If you are moving within El Dorado County rather than out of it, the utility transfers are usually simpler than you expect, and the address changes are not.
