These are four people I have worked with, in their words rather than mine, and I have not tidied any of it up. Read them one after another and you will notice they are all describing the same thing four different ways. That is the part I would want you to see.
The thread
Calm. It turns up in almost every one of these and it is not a thing I ever set out to be known for. I think what they are describing is simpler than it sounds. A move had stopped feeling like a decision and started feeling like weather, and somebody slowed it back down until it was a decision again. Here is what that looked like from where they were standing.

A page of quotes is easy to assemble and you have no way of checking a word of it. So here is the better offer. Tell me which of these sounds closest to your situation and I will ask that client whether they are willing to take a call from you. Some say yes. Some are private about their move and say no, and that is a perfectly good answer. Nobody on this page was paid or given anything for what they wrote.
