What you type into it, and a record that the visit happened. There is no advertising pixel on this site and nothing here follows you around other websites. Nothing personal is collected from you at all unless you fill something in.
When you do fill something in, that is normally:
Into Follow Up Boss, the customer system my office and I use to keep track of the people we are helping. It does not go anywhere else. It is not sold, rented or passed to a data broker, and it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
It is visible to me and to the people who work with me at CK Real Estate Services. Follow Up Boss, as the company running that software, holds it on my behalf.
I will only text you about property if you ticked the box asking me to. Agreeing is never a condition of seeing a home or getting an answer, and you can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP. Your carrier may charge you for messages at their usual rates.
I use Google Analytics to see which pages people actually read and which ones lead somewhere useful. It tells me things like how many people opened the downsizing page this month, roughly what part of the world they were in, and whether they arrived from a search or a link. It does not tell me who you are.
It is set up deliberately narrowly. The advertising parts of Google Analytics are switched off on this site: no ad storage, no ad personalisation, and none of what Google calls Signals, which is the feature that would otherwise connect a visit here to somebody’s signed-in Google account. That means I am measuring my own website, not contributing to an advertising profile of you, and nothing collected here is sold or shared for cross-context advertising.
If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns it off everywhere: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers also have a Do Not Track or tracking-protection setting, and blocking it will not break anything on this site.
The open house sign-in saves each sign-in on the device it was typed on until it has been safely sent, so that a weak signal in a house cannot lose somebody. That copy stays in that browser and nowhere else.
Google Analytics sets a cookie on your device so that two visits from the same browser are not counted as two different people. That is the only cookie this site sets, and it is not used for advertising. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies here.
For as long as I am working with you, or might reasonably still be helping you find or sell a home. If you ask me to delete it, I will. Some records of completed transactions have to be kept for longer because California real estate law requires it.
Email cheri@ckteamrealestate.com or ring (916) 296 4953 and say what you want. You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, and ask me to stop contacting you. You will not be treated any differently for asking.
This site is not meant for anyone under sixteen and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.
The date at the top of this page changes with it, so you can always tell whether you are reading the current version.
